The New Fisher 10 - Specification
The new Fisher 10 comes ready-to-sail and is designed for RCD Category A Ocean for six persons.
The specification and inventory includes:
ENGINE: Beta Marine BV1305 marine diesel developing 35hp @ 3600 rpm with 3; 1 reduction reverse gearbox. Engine on anti-vibration mounts secured to steel reinforced grp beds moulded to hull.
BALLAST: Approx 4 tons cast iron ballast encapsulated within the grp moulded keel to form an integral part of the hull structure.
BATTERIES: A heavy duty 12 volt engine starting battery and 12 volt domestic battery
HULL AND DECK: Heavy duty grp Hull and Deck mouldings bonded together beneath bulwark cappings. Deck areas core sandwich moulded. All to Lloyds Register of Shipping recommended scantlings. Teak laid decks are standard
SPARS, RIGGING AND SAILS: Mast and boom aluminium alloy with stainless steel fittings. Navigation, masthead and floodlights fitted. Main and heads ail winches. Mainsail with slab reefing and kicking strap. Heavy duty stainless steel standing rigging to bolted chain plates. Running rigging of terylene. Mainsail and large jib. Stormsail with optional boom and self-tacking track.
FORECABIN: Two generous berths with 6" cushions and stowage under. Seat positioned between berths and a wardrobe to starboard. Access to saloon via hinged panelled door. Berth lights. Fixed ports in hull, fixed and opening in coach roof. Access to foredeck through translucent hatch. Space under berths for optional Bow Thruster unit.
SALOON: A dinette is arranged to port with upholstered settee with storage outboard. Adjustable timber saloon table converts to a large berth. A settee to starboard with sideboard and lockers has an extension under forward wardrobe to give full length berth. Overhead and berth lights. Fixed and opening windows
GALLEY: Divided from saloon on starboard side. L shaped, with stainless steel sink and drainer, refrigerator, cooker with two burner hob, grill, oven and safety strap. Hot and cold water supply. General stowage and drawers.
WHEELHOUSE: Raised wheelhouse with upholstered seats port and starboard and lockers under. Translucent overhead sailing panel. Two opening side windows. Double doors to cockpit. Engine controls and steering console with electric panels. Access to engine compartment. Chart table and lights.
COCKPIT: Moulded with continuous seating and lockers under. Access to bilge pumping and gas locker draining overboard. Teak grating to self-draining sole. Tiller steering
ENGINE ROOM : Heavily sound proofed from accommodation, contains engine, fuel tank, all mechanical equipment, batteries, pumps, compressors etc.
OUTLINE INVENTORY: In addition to items listed the vessel will be complete with compass, gas bottle, 2 mooring lines, 2 fenders, fire extinguishers and all equipment as required to meet RCD regulations for this category.
